Honestly,...I TOTALLY appreciate your input in this. Honestly, I would have had no idea about Charlotte but as far as it goes that is not how I want my kids to be raised...at this point they don't see a difference really in skin and that's working well. ;) Minneapolis is out (job was filled...darn)...still waiting on Ft. Worth and another position that opened up in Austin. We shall see...nothing has come from anything in Nashville...too bad because those people can build a kitchen like a mo' fo' which is more than I can say for Texas builders.

Happy New Year to you and the Naked Mrs.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06139481165589786016noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5415002264081187335.post-55938059978761145972013-12-16T21:11:46.640-08:002013-12-16T21:11:46.640-08:00OK, Atlanta, Georgia? You said you heard the traffic in Austin is supposed to be nightmarish, but you might need to visit Atlanta before you put that on your list if traffic is a concern for you. 2 hour drives each way to work is the norm there unless you buy a house right near the office, and that means inside the city, like deep inside the city because that traffic is 24/7 and there is no such thing as a light traffic day.

Dallas Ft Worth - I like that, 45 minute drive! HA HA! I drive 45 minutes just to reach the edge of Memphis from my house out in the sticks. Of course, we did that on purpose.

Nashville - it's like a mini-Atlanta in some parts, but not all. In the little suburb you and I were talking about the other day it gets pretty crowded, and at 5 pm it is a stop-and-go crawl for quite a ways, but I think when the construction on 65 is all done it'll help a good bit. It won't do miracles, but it'll help. And the people there are a LOT nicer than Memphis, too, so there's that to make it more worthwhile. At least, to me.

Charlotte, NC - be careful. You might check the internet and do a thorough Google search on "black racism" because it was either Charlotte or Raleigh that is a mecca of black on white hate crimes that never get prosecuted, and I mean its EVERYWHERE YOU GO there. My sister lived there for awhile. She couldn't even get a hamburger without the black employees spitting in her food right in front of her. And no, no one steps up and says anything because it's considered OK to hate whitey there. Seriously, check that out extremely thoroughly before you accept any offers there.

Minneapolis, MN - WHAAAAAAAAAT?????

OK, that's pretty much all I know. Anyway, you know Nashville is the place you wanna be.
Memphishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01636056194130886380noreply@blogger.com
